MESSAGE FROM GOVERNOR SANDI CRAIG
Governor Sandi Craig would like to share her theme, GROW in Altrusa, and her goals for 2010-2013. The goals address three important areas: Service, Leadership and Camaraderie.
SERVICE
- GROW participation in hands-on community service projects.
- GROW service hours provided each year by local clubs.
- GROW District wide service project opportunities for this bienniun/triennium.
- GROW participation of District clubs in Make A Difference Day.
- GROW the number of clubs that submit service projects for the Mamie L. Bass Award.
LEADERSHIP
- GROW the mentoring of leaders through experience, leadership of Past Governors.
- GROW opportunities for members to gain leadership experience.
- GROW meaningful trainings/workshops at District Conference to train/mentor our future leaders.
- GROW mentoring of clubs who struggle for Charter strength and to fill leadership positions.
CAMARADERIE
- GROW and retain membership through discussing the brand of Altrusa with others.
- GROW accurate and timely informationto facilitate consistency among clubs.
- GROW the active use of our Altrusa KEY: Amity, Loyalty, Talent, Reciprocity, Unity, Service, and Achievement.
- GROW relationships with other Altrusans at local, district and international levels.
