Area V Workshop

The Area V Workshop is rapidly approaching.  I hope your clubs are planning to attend.  The date is October 3 from 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Shady Grove Methodist Church in Richmond, Virginia.  Please mark your calendars. 

Each club is participating in the programming for our workshop.  The workshop theme is Patriotism.  The following clubs will be responsible for arrangements and program information as indicated below:

Richmond, Virginia Club - Hosting, food, decorations

Capitol City of Richmond Club - VA Hospital, Fisher House; members are bring items for the Fisher Home, which is a temporary home for the veterans families while visiting their love ones in the VA Hospital--a fitting activity for our workshop!

Martinsville/Henry County Club - Why is Patriotism on the Insignia? - History of Patriotism as it relates to Altrusa International, Inc.

Tidewater Club - Military Aspect  Of Patriotism

Charlottesville Club - The relationship between patriotism and service and citizenship

Your clubs should have received the workshop registration form.  Registration is due by September 17, 2009.  The registration cost is $20.
