ALTRUSA KEY OPENING DOORS TO THE FUTURE
The Goals for the 2006-2008 Biennium reinforce the goals of International:
Membership
• Increase membership by 10% in the first year of the biennium – this means 2-3 new members per club.
• Increase membership in the second year of the biennium by 15%.
Tying into membership is New Club Building
• Two goals 2 new clubs for the biennium, and
• Identifying areas for expansion and new club building.
• Bring all District Clubs to Charter strength.
Financial/Organization
• Replenish the funds in reserve to at least the minimum of a 1 year’s budget.
• Investigate grants available to organizations such as Altrusa, and take advantage of opportunities that may present themselves.
Service
• Encourage Clubs’ participation in community projects.
• Identify a District wide in the first year of the biennium.
• Implement District wide Service project in the second year of the biennium
to either coincide with Make a Difference Day, or with the February 14 Heart-to-Heart campaigns.

– This is a big one for me –
• Make Altrusa well known in every market where we have an Altrusa Club. There should be no blank looks when the name Altrusa is mentioned. To this end, I will work with my committee chairs to strategize on how to best disseminate information about Altrusa.
