Welcome to District Two

Altrusa is an organization of professionals dedicated to improving the communities in which they live. Altrusans come from many countries and many backgrounds; all dedicated to a better community through service. Following the priorities of the International Organization, the main focus of the District and the Clubs within it is Literacy. Each Club, in its own way, develops programs tailored to the needs of its community. But our members don’t stop at that; always looking for ways of enhancing the lives of those around them by helping young people develop their Leadership skills through ASTRA.  District Two currently encompasses the states of Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.
